It is Emily Biss’ birthday, the third day of our Sun Mountain Lodge getaway, and I am leading a mountaineers hike up Wolf Creek towards Gardner Meadows near Sun Mountain Lodge. Participants include Nicole Hansen (leader), Jennifer Lekisch, Bobbie Laue, and Emily Biss. We went up about 6 miles until reaching a snow-melt engorged stream. Happy birthday, Emily.
